April 17: JC’s Ranch Youth Campout and Fishing Tournament – Funds are raised and testimonies are shared in this ‘once-a-year’ event. JC’s Ranch is proud to open up their grounds for the PBC youth group to spend the evening camping out, and the next morning roll directly over into the fishing tournament. Nearly 200 people attended this year, and the highlights were the testimonies of those who attend JC’s ranch, the handing out of trophies to the kids, and the fellowship of like-minded Christians. Christ is magnified in all things that JC’s Ranch does.

April 26: Dessert Auction – we raised over $3000 for our youth group mission trips! This year featured banana puddings, ‘at-home’ baking kits, delicious pies, and the infamous Mrs Byrd’s 12-layer Cake (always a fan favorite).

May 27: “Rising Youth Night” – here at PBC we celebrate our youth in many ways, and one of them is coming alongside them as they “graduate” from Children’s Church age to Youth Group age. Fellow youth members welcome them into the fray as they dive into deeper lessons about Christ, life, and how to glorify God!

June 1 through June 5: VBS – “Magnified!” – VBS was a HUGE success this year as we spent a whole week with young children, playing, learning, and laughing all while glorifying God through praise and worship, bible lessons, and much more! By the end of the week 21 children accepted Christ into their hearts and lives!

June 8 through June 12 – Youth Camp: Generate! – Camp is always an exciting time for our youth and chaperones to change scenery a bit by traveling to a different location. This year it was at it was at Brewton Park College in Mt Vernon, GA. Students and adults spent a whole weekened engrossed in scripture, previous-youth-lead lessons, and more. PBC had four youth come to accept Christ in their life over the weekend! At camp and other events throughout the year, memories are made and souls are saved!
