Do you have a contagious smile? Do you go out of your way to help others? PBC greeters make sure each guest has a memorable experience from the moment they arrive until they leave our campus. Greeters are responsible for:
Opening doors for guests.
Creating a friendly atmosphere.
Answering guest’s questions and providing directions across campus.
Saying hello from the parking lot, lobby and auditorium.
The Children’s ministry is a great place to serve and help teach the younger generation about God on a level that is fun and geared toward their age. Shane and Deborah lead the children’s ministry. They have a goal of building a team of volunteers that are passionate in teaching and mentoring children every other month.
Starting the second Wednesday in September (9/13/23), PBC will begin having spiritual growth classes (or Wednesday night services) for babies – 6th grade for PBC Kids from 6-7:45pm. If you are interested in volunteering to teach our kids classes, please click the button below.
The Youth are taught Biblical knowledge and how to grow in their spiritual walk with Christ. Pat and Alicia Dykes lead the youth. Their goal is to equip the next generation to be bold Christians, reading their word, and always putting God first so that they can be prepared for all that the world has to throw at them. Adult volunteers who are willing to chaperone, lead games, and pray with the students are encouraged to join in on Wednesday nights with the youth!
We make it our goal to ensure the safety of all church attendees here at Pooler Bible Church. To create an even safer environment where you can come to freely worship and fellowship, we are adding additional security members to our team. Please email email@example.com if you would like to serve in this area.
The AWANAS program will be for 2/3 yr olds through 6 th grade. A class for babies will also be provided. The AWANAS program is a structured discipleship program for kids where they memorize scripture and do activities and earn rewards for doing so. They will have a game time, a Bible lesson, and time each night to recite their memorized verses.
Areas to Volunteer:
Listen to children recite Bible verses.
Give the Bible lesson each week. The lessons are provided through AWANAS.
Perform administrative duties like check-in time and recording the achievements.
lead brief skits with puppets. This is usually a 10 minute performance with a script provided by AWANAS.
